Former Professional Dimitrios Grammozis to Lead the Team
Grammozis Signs Two-Year Contract
FC Kaiserslautern has found their new coach in former professional Dimitrios Grammozis, as reported by SPORT1. Grammozis has signed a two-year contract with the club.
Grammozis, who played for Kaiserslautern from 2002 to 2004, has been working as a coach since 2012. He has previously managed teams such as Darmstadt 98, Bochum, and most recently Schalke 04. Under his leadership, Schalke 04 gained promotion to the Bundesliga in the 2021/2022 season.
Kaiserslautern, currently playing in the 2. Bundesliga, is hoping that Grammozis can lead them back to the top flight. The club has been struggling in recent years, having been relegated from the Bundesliga in 2012.
